Great experience staying at this pod hotel in the centre of Boston. The pods give a lot of privacy even being in a dorm and the bathrooms and pods were very clean. They kept my suitcase for a few hours after check out that was very convenient. Location is superb!

Meco stands out as having true "capsule" like spaces that are a step up from traditional hostels. The pods are the only ones I choose to stay in, and they feature beds that automatically sit up for reading, lights, and curtains for privacy. Amenities are modern, clean, and efficient. Location is great as the TD Garden stadium and T line (Green) is right across the street, with lots of shops (7-Eleven, CVS, Star Market) within 1 block. There is ample underbed storage, featuring a rolling tray that is as big as the twin bed, and you can lock your personal items with a lock (free from the front desk if you ask). This is probably as close as we'll get to "capsule" or "pod" hotels in the USA and highly recommended over traditional hostel hotels, which are just bunk beds.

I first stayed at MECO Hotel in the summer of 2024, when I decided to explore the East Coast for the first time. Back then, I told myself that if I ever came back to Boston, this would be the place I’d return to, and I actually did! Coming back here felt familiar and comforting. The staff still have the same warm, polite, and welcoming attitude, and everything about the place remains just as I remembered, super clean, well-organized, and beautifully designed. There’s a special sense of harmony in the design, modern yet cozy, simple yet full of character. Even though it’s technically a hostel, it honestly feels more like a boutique hotel. The rooms are quiet, the beds are comfortable, and they even provide shampoo and towels, which makes the stay very convenient. During my stays, I also got to meet many amazing people from around the world, and that’s actually the whole concept behind MECO, “Me & Company,” as the owner told me!! It truly creates a sense of connection and community in the heart of the city. If you hang there long enough, you’ll be part of the MECO family, at least that’s how I feel. I’ve stayed in many places across the East Coast, but this place stands out for its calm atmosphere, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home while still giving you that refreshing, travel-inspired energy. Located right in the heart of Boston, it’s a perfect blend of comfort, style, and warmth. A 5-star experience without a doubt!!

We stayed at the Meco Hotel with three friends in a private room in October 2025 and we loved everything about it. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel was spotless, and you could tell they really care about every detail, with beautiful art on the walls and a friendly atmosphere. The location is perfect, only one block from the train station, which made it easy for us to go to Salem and other nearby places. It is also very close to the arena (just in front of it) where games take place, and just a short walk from downtown. There are many restaurants, cafes, and 24-hour shops right around the corner. Our room was quiet, private, and very comfortable. We had our own bathroom. I found the bed super comfy and love to have my own space. On the top roof, there is an open space where you can relax, hang out, or even do some work, which was a nice plus. We were so happy with our stay and would definitely come back again.

My experience here has been so great. Everyone in the dorm is very respectful to the quiet times. I never expected to be able to decompress after a long day of working at a con, but I have been able to hear as soon as I pull the curtain down in my little pod. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are clean. The only criticism I would give it is that the pillows are very flat so I recommend bringing your own.

I had a great stay, very relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay downtown on a budget. The 7th floor amenities were more than adequate.

Pod in the large men's room. Clever conviences everywhere! Easy to navigate and good options - top floor is community space & serves well for having a place to set up for remoting. Large, lockable personal storage to boot! Recommended!

Meco has cozy and convenient rooming, helpful staff members, and an excellent lounge on the top floor. The location is perfect to walk downtown. This was my first experience at a pod hotel and I would recommend to fellow travelers!

I love this hostel/hotel. I’ve stayed in hostels around the world, and there is nothing quite like a good pod hostel. I stayed here quite frequently because I have to fly in for my job and I always choose here. The pod is spacious and it’s the little touches that make it great. For example, I run hot, and at a lot of hostels you don’t have control over the temperature, but all of their pods have a fan, and I’m able to sleep well. You also have individual lighting, and multiple outlets. There are even hooks for your jacket and a mesh net to hold your belongings. It also feels more private than a normal hostel. Overall a great place to stay if you need something more affordable.
